Account Coordinator (Sales Team), Dartmouth

Reporting to and working with the Director, Sales the Account Coordinator is responsible for successfully retaining sales by maintaining effective, long-lasting partnerships with retail clothing brands, ensuring customer needs and expectations are satisfied. As part of a team, the Account Coordinator works with the Sales Executive and Sales Coordinator throughout the sales cycle to ensure successful close; s/he has close interaction with the marketing and product development units.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Retain sales and achieve assigned quotas
  • Assess client satisfaction with results
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns in collaboration with other units -ensuring effective communication with customer at all times
  • Act as the liaison between sales team and product development team, ensuring effective and timely communication and follow-up on items, resolutions, etc
  • Identify potential new clients and work with Sales Executive to maintain a pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual bookings targets
  • Identify prospective clients’ digital and interactive marketing needs and present solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain competitive knowledge on industries and competitors to leverage in sales cycle
  • Collect and analyze sales results, demographics, customer satisfaction surveys, and other market research information to identify trends and suggest process improvements
  • Respond to requests for account information
  • Identify short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed
  • Develop and implement turnkey sales processes with overall sales team
  • Leverage relationships to introduce all service/ product areas to clients

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a suitable combination of education and experience may be acceptable
  • 3-5 years account management/coordination experience in a Business to Business environment in direct marketing, online or e-marketing, and interactive marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to produce results and work to quotas
  • Proven capacity to open new opportunities, close business, and manage the sales cycle
  • Strong consultative selling approach including listening, questioning, persuading
  • Experience using customer relationship management database (CRM) & proficient in MS Office Suite, (Office, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills

Event Coordinator, Nova Scotia

Reporting to and under the direction of the Director, Marketing, the Event Coordinator is responsible for coordinating corporate event logistics. S/he organizes and supports all station launch projects, trade shows, conferences, etc., interacting with other staff and outside vendors to accomplish goals in a timely manner maintaining attention to detail. Working in a fast paced environment, the Event Coordinator ensures all aspects of events are implemented and controlled according to organizational objectives and plans; s/he demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and creativity in responding to changing priorities.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and roll out of retail station launches and other retail marketing events for stations, including cross-promotional alliances with brands, affiliate stores, etc.
  • Develop, assemble, and distribute mall marketing toolkits working with Retail Operations staff and other marketing toolkits/packages as required for staff and participants attending conferences/ events
  • Support the development of marketing pieces for events
  • Ensure preparation and smooth execution of all aspects of corporate sponsored events
  • Assist with preparing budgets and provide periodic progress reports to senior management on event projects
  • Develop supporting event materials, orders any necessary materials to support presence at tradeshows, conferences, etc.
  • Brief team members, volunteers, staff, etc. on event flow and responsibilities
  • Track and report on key metrics associated with events (visitors, etc.)
  • Prepare RFPs/SOWs, event contracts and other necessary documentation
  • Conduct research and site visits and identify necessary resources to inform decisions about event possibilities
  • Act as liaison with third party vendors on event-related matters and handle all contracts, shipping, etc. for the event

  • Demonstrated experience conducting online research

Retail Administrative Assistant- Burnside, Nova Scotia

The Retail Administrative Assistant supports the Unique Retail Operations team in its day-to-day business operations, functions, and processes by providing administrative and clerical support to a team of Regional Directors. Working in a fast paced, high energy environment, s/he demonstrates initiative and adaptability in responding to changing priorities. The Retail Administrative Assistant interacts with senior executives, existing clients, prospective clients, and a team to accomplish goals in a timely manner maintaining attention to detail, efficiency, and innovation in results. Summary of Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to multiple staff including Regional Directors
  • Assist in the coordination of retail projects working with multiple business units as necessary
  • Manage the flow of communication for internal and external business relations, including gathering and disseminating information
  • Draft and prepare documents including: typing/formatting/ proofreading of letters, reports, contracts, proposals, travel requests, expense reports etc.

Marketing Coordinator, Nova Scotia

S/he develops and implements innovative and effective e- marketing programs/opportunities to support Unique Solutions Design Ltd's objectives. Working in a fast paced environment, the Marketing Coordinator demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and creativity in responding to changing priorities.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Develop and/or coordinate the development and production of marketing communication materials (collateral material development, public relations, advertising, retail promotions, sponsorship, messaging), including design, proofing, shipping, and liaising with graphic designers
  • Manage maintenance of company websites and social media marketing efforts, including: Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, blog, and any other social media venues
  • Work with Director, Marketing to ensure that the company Marketing Plan is being executed in a timely and efficient manner according to schedule
  • Liaise with retail brands, malls, and sponsors and act as the corporate contact for all marketing inquiries
  • Assist in the development and execution of retail promotion and customer incentive (give-away) programs
  • Coordinate public relations and related projects, working with outsourced firm
  • Responsible for updating and distributing various marketing related reports
  • Maintain inventory of all internal and external communications, media, and sales presentation materials, and distribute as necessary
  • Develop and maintain a library of industry research, proposals, competitive intelligence, case studies, and customer success stories

Required Qualifications

  • Current knowledge of developments in the field of marketing/branding as well as ongoing knowledge of trends and consumer attitudes
  • Basic understanding of copywriting processes, graphic design, photography, videography, print production, and
  • Proficient in use of Adobe Acrobat and MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Publisher, Excel)
  • Adept at utilizing social media (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, blogs) and online research
